John Mark Prewitt

John Mark Prewitt is Chief Financial Officer for Peak Nano and brings significant financial and investment expertise to the team.

John Mark Prewitt, CPA, began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s in Finance from Texas A&M University. After obtaining his CPA license, John Mark joined Vericrest Financial (now known as Caliber Home Loans) as a Corporate Accountant. He assisted in the transition of the accounting and finance functions from East Hanover, New Jersey to the new headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

Upon the competition of that project, John Mark transitioned to his own full time private practice, Prewitt CPA. Since its inception, Prewitt CPA has grown from a sole proprietorship to a team of 12+ employees. In 2016, John Mark helped to found Cohesion Wealth Advisors, an investment management practice to serve both Prewitt CPA and outside clients. Later in 2018, with his business partners, John Mark founded Cohesion Business Advisors (CBA). CBA is a consulting practice focused on outsourced accounting and other back office functions.

John Mark and his wife, Carleigh, currently reside in Dallas, Texas with their two hunting dogs. Outside of work, John Mark is an avid outdoorsman, Aggie football fan, and an active member of the Touchdown Club of Dallas, Park Cities Quail, and Dallas Safari Club.
